Boardwalk began The Boardwalk Retirement Community (BRC) in Edmonton, Alberta in 2000. Recognizing the need for an affordable senior assisted living residence, Boardwalk renovated a portion of Boardwalk Centre to accommodate the new BRC.

Boardwalk Centre is located above the beautiful River Valley, just off Jasper Avenue. The location provides the perfect combination of inner-city convenience with beautiful natural views.

In 2005, the second BRC began, this time in Calgary's northwest district of Varsity. The location is close to the city centre near mature residential neighbourhoods. The BRC in Varsity features beautiful mountain and Nose Hill Park views, along with the conveniences of easy access to LRT and shopping.

Our goal is to provide seniors with sensibly priced healthy living, excellent service, superior food, and the peace of mind that comes with assisted living. Our residents enjoy comfortable Senior Apartment Living with independence, dignity and respect.
